Recent uploads / new products

We are only able to load a small % of products that we source to our website due to the sheer volumes of products that we source.  Since much of what we handle is customised, we are very selective of the products that we upload.  Here are some recent examples of newly uploaded / sourced products. 

Recent Projects / Shipments

We recently waved good bye to three containers headed for the Solomon Islands.  Sourcing Bali was once again selected to source and supply all loose and fitted furniture for phase 2 of the renovation programme at Kitano Mendana Hotel, Solomon Islands.

Sourcing Bali proudly assisted this property in 2007 with the addition of new suite rooms. Now, 5 years later the rest of the guest rooms have been renovated and we have supplied them once again. 

We are also proud to have sent two containers to Australia to furnish the soon to be opened restaurant in Canberra Australia.  MALAMAY.  The first container has already arrived and the 2nd is not far away.  We look forward to sharing news of its opening in the coming weeks. 

We continue to receive many orders from private buyers and home owners.  We have recently completed orders for luxury homes in the Carribean, Brunei, Hawaii, Australia and Fiji.  So, if you're planning on renovating your home or business, it may well make a lot of sense to source from Bali.  Customised designs are our specialty.

'Bespoke' is open 7 days a week from 9-7 and provides a unique range of selected furniture and soft furnishings. 

Discounts are readily available for purchases of Rp1.000.000 or more and considerable wholesale discounts apply for orders of 25 pcs or more (per item).

RIM CARGO - Update

Since it's formation in 2006, Rim Cargo has continued to grow from strength to strength under the careful eye of Nengah Danta - General Manager.  We have an enviable reputation for quality packing, attention to detail and excelled customer service. 

We are often told stories of competing companies who fail to meet customer service expectations, who's poor quality packing is often the cause for many breakages, and who's failure to communicate creates frustration and disappointment for the customers.  Proudly, this is not what people hear when they hear of Rim Cargo.

We proudly state that we are not the cheapest, nor are we the most expensive freight forwarder, however we certainly do stand by our reputation and motto - 'professional freight services with care'.  Whilst we do encourage insurance coverage for our clients shipments, we have fewer than 2 claims per year - a clear testimony to the quality of our packing and the safe loading of the containers.

50% of the business at Rim Cargo is derived from Sourcing Bali, whilst the remainder is booked directly via non-Sourcing Bali clients on line, or walkins to our sales office centrally located on Jalan Laksmana - (Oberoi) in Seminyak.

As an active member of the Indonesian Association of Freight Forwarders, (Gafeksi) we contribute to the goal of establishing Bali as a leading source of export, and we proudly work to acheive these aims.

Fiji Direct

Sourcing Bali continues to offer BALI's ONLY DIRECT consolidated freight service to Fiji.  Now in our 9th year of operating these services, we contiue to provide unbeatable prices for LCL shipments direct from Bali to Lautoka or Suva. 

Prices are up to 50% less than regular LCL services which are consolidated in Singapore via AKL.  Our services are loaded LOOSE LOAD, and thus consume less volumes - meaning MORE SAVINGS for our customers. 
 

Services operate when we have sufficent volumes to send a container and sailing schedules vary - we operate on average one container every 6-7 weeks - depending on demand.  Prices start at US$235 per cbm all in for the 1st 1-2 cbm, and US$185 for every subsequent cbm.  Shop around and we PROMISE you wont find anything close to these prices.

Heads up for AUGUST

I thought it wise to mention, even at this early stage... August is going to be an interesting and challenging month for orders.   This August sees the conbination of a number of national, religious and ceremonial events - including national and regional holidays.

Indonesian Independence Day is on August 17th - all businesses will be closed

Idul Fitri (Eid) falls on 19th and 20th - many businesses / suppliers will be closed from the 6th until the 24th of August.  Port closures will likely be from 15th until 22nd - to be confirmed. (our offices will be closed 20th)

In Bali, we will be celebrating Galungan and Kuningan for the 2nd time this year - with Balinese businesses closed from 27th until 1st Sept. (we'll be closed 29th and 30th)

Whilst August is normally high season for Bali with many buyers coming to place their Christmas orders, this may prove an interesting challenge - we certainly suggest you re-schedule.

Meet Kres

Meet Kres, (Kresentia) - our newest team member.  Kres joined us in January as Account Manager (sales) to take over from Pipin.

Kres is still in training for another month or so, but will soon be out and about assisting with buying trips and personal shopping services.

We wish her well in her new role and we look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with Sourcing Bali.
