We have now got over 3500 products listed on our website www.sourcing-bali.com - each selected for their quality and unqiueness.  unfortunately, it's not possible to keep up with the sheer volume of products that we source for our customers, that's why we load and select only  a limited range of high quality products that we have sourced for our customers.  Some of the new items that we've loaded this month include BEAN BAGS.  Bean bags have become a very popular beach side, or pool side seating.  The bean bags come in a wide range of designs, and colours, and can be sold with or without the polysyrene filler.

Fuel Price increases

You may already have heard of demonstations throughout Indonesia as a result of the forthcoming fuel price increase.    The proposed hike is as a result of reducing Government subsidies on fuel, effecting a 30% increase in the price of gasoline at the pumps.  From Rp4.500 per litre to Rp6.000 per litre - it was to be effective from 1st April.

The decision was delayed at the very last minute, however we are still advised to expect increases in the near future.

The affect of this will be significant and immediate with some food stuffs already increased by 10-15%.  Production costs for all industries will be affected, as will petroleoum based products such as paints, stains, varnishes etc.  We expect price increases for furntiture, accessories and textiles to be increased in the coming weeks by 10-15%.

Current orders will be honoured, however any new quotes will be subject to change, based on the approval date of the order and dates of deposits received. If you have any question regsarding current quotes, please email me.
 

New Projects / New Customers

We're wonderfully busy with a bunch of new projects at the moment, including a luxury home in Hawaii, a superb villa on Nusa Lembongan, a 22-room hotel in southern Bali, and a small boutique hotel on the East Coast USA.  In addition, we've got some great repeat orders from many of our friends in Fiji, Miami, Adelaide, Brisbane, Maldives, Caribbean, Perth, Dubai, Tokyo, Australia, UK, Saudi Arabia and China. 

We also welcome new customers from Melbourne, Sydney, Bali, Jakarka... and hopefully a new and exciting prospect for a super duper luxury resort in Maldives.  (fingers crossed)

Gift Shops / Resorts

Many of our customers are from Resorts and Hotels arround the world, often in beach or island destinations.

We assist many resort gift shops with design, selection and procurement of a wide range of gift items, many of which can be branded and labelled to carry the resort name.  Hand crafted items such as sarongs, candles, aromatherapy gift sets, apparel, bags, belts and accessories, can all be customised to suit the location, culture and style of the destination.

Conrad Bali - Stay and Source Program

Sourcing Bali was proud to be asked to join with Conrad Bali to create a special STAY AND SOURCE program for guests of the Conrad Suites.

Personal Shopping Services

Sourcing Bali has been assisting visitors to Bali with their personal sourcing and buying for their homes for over a decade. 

Our Personal Shopping Services include introductions to a wide range of suppliers of indoor and outdoor furniture, accessories, art and artifacts, stone and wood carvings, bathroom equipment and fittings, doors, windows, building materials, lighting, ceramics, glassware and much, much more. 

A Sourcing Bali Personal Shopping Service is available for 5 or 8 hours, and includes car, driver and dediated Account Manager to assist with introductions, translations, product selections, and help to establish QC standards such as colour, size and finish.   Prices for shopping are Rp225.000 per person for 5 hours or Rp350.000 per person for 8 hours. 

A 15% fee is charged on any items that need to be ordered. i'e anything that needs our help to ensure that the orders are 100% correct. Anything purchased on the day, from stock and paid in full to the supplier - is not subject to any fees.  Those items are simply collected by our cargo crew and brought to our warehouse for packing and storage.

Singapore Trade Event

Hospitality Essentials will be exhibiting at the forthcoming  FHA2012 show in Singapore from April 16th to 19th.  This trade event is one of the largest in the region, showcasing Asia's leading suppliers of hotel and resort equipment and supplies. 

Our crew of 5 will be on hand to present our latest designs from our Hospitality Essentials range, as well as meet our customers from Singapore and thoughout the region.  Visitors come from all over Asia / Pacific, and it is a wonderful opportunity to cath up with the industry's latest designs.

Sourcing Bali - 11th year anniversary

This May will be the 11th year of operation for Sourcing Bali. !!!!

We'll be celebrating in style with a staff party in the west of Bali with partners, kids, and family included. 

We havent yet finalised the theme for this years party, nor what competitions the crew will have to get into in order to win great prizes.... No doubt there'll be lots of stories to tell and photo's to share.. so be sure to watch this space.  (and facebook)
