Dear Friends,

I am very proud to once again bring you the latest edition of Sourcing Bali News - now in it's 10th YEAR !!

As mentioned in my last newlestter, we've started 2011 off with a bang. The entire crew is busy with projects both here and overseas.

In this edition, we bring you updates on the interior design projects of Bespoke, PLUS, recent projects of Hospitality Essentials - including some exciting new designs that we've been working on - as well as updates on latest website uploads, supplier news and general information on our crew.

We're also pleased to announce the OPENING of our new retail store in Seminyak..!!

We warmly welcome back many of our regular customers from Swizterland, Fiji, Australia, USA, Hawaii, Maldives, Singapore - long time supporters of Sourcing Bali / Rim Cargo.

As always, we cannot thank you enough for your tremendous support. We have come a long way since I started Sourcing Bali in 2000/2001. Now, together with RIM CARGO, Bespoke, Hospitality Essentials - we have a combined crew of nearly 90. Many of the crew have been here as long as me, and you know them as well as I do.

We thoroughly enjoy working with you and we look forward to working closely with you for many more years to come.

Latest Uploads

We are constantly searching for new and interesting products to load to the website - the choice and variety in Bali is considerable - that's why we try to load only items that are different, new and not so common place. Our website has thousands of products, however this still represents only a very small percentage of the range and diversity of products that we source for our customers.

If you dont find what you're looking for on our site, please let us know and we will be happy to source it for you.

Installation complete - Sentosa Villas - Seminyak

We were very proud to have been selected to design and supply all interiors for the refurbishment of Blossom restaurant at Sentosa Villas. Now relaunched under the new name of EVO, the restaurant and bar have taken on a very new and different appearance and the feedback has been very good.

I'm proud of Chung and all the team who were involved with this very special and very public project - the installation was completed last week, on time - according to schedule.

W Hotel - Opening

We were also very proud to be selected as supplier of accessories for the much awaited W Bali.

Tali and the crew have been working for many months on these funky designs for the guest bathrooms, guest rooms and outlets - the result was a fun and eclective range. We congratulate the W on their opening and wish them every success.

Bespoke Store - Now Open

8th of April was an auspicious day for opening a new business, so we opted for this date to launch the first ever design store of Sourcing Bali - aptly named - Bespoke.

Bespoke means 'customised' - this is the brand name of our Interior design division, and we've also used this brand for our retail store. The store features a small selection of customised furniture, but also features a wide range of accessories from our Hopsitality Essentials range - designs that are most suited for villas, private residences and boutiques - all items are in STOCK and available NOW.

Bespoke is centrally located in Jalan Laksmana (Oberoi) #32, downstairs from Rim Cargo Sales office. Open Everyday - we look forward to welcoming you.

UK Project

After the successful launch of one of our most recent projects in Puerto Vallarta Mexico, we were very pleased to hear that the owners of a successful and well known club in the heart of London - would like Bespoke to design and supply all interiors for a their 20 room apartment conversion in SW1.

Works are already underway for these 20 studios, 1 and 2 bedroom apartments - and preliminary design submissions have received raving comments.

It's still early days and the mood boards and colour palattes are still being worked, but I promise to bring you further updates in the coming months.

SKYPE us

More and more of our customers are using the internet and video conferencing to discuss orders and review progress of orders - all of the Admin crew at Sourcing Bali and RIM CARGO use Skype for inter office communciations - some of whom have video facilites.

SKYPE helps to clarify any issues quickly, efficiently and directly - it can save on email response time and helps with problem solving.

New Crew

We are proud to announce the promotion and transfer of Slamet to Store Manager of Bespoke. He is also joined by a new crew member Tiara as Sales Assistant . Together they will oversee all operations of the new retail store. This also means that a new replacment for Slamet had to be found, and thus, we welcome Agus as the newest Sales Co-ordinator in Hospitality Essentials. Agus joins us from the restaurant industry and so, will be an invaluable assett to the HE team.

We wish all of them the best of success in their new roles - and we welcome them to the Sourcing Bali family. (except Slamet .. he's an oldie)

10th Anniversary Staff Party

This coming May is our 10th anniversary - and plans are already underway for the annual staff party. This year is bigger than ever, with over 230 guests - including partners and kids. In fact, we've got over 70 kids from all the crew in Sourcing Bali / Rim Cargo - so we have quite a handful. (We've hired a doctor and a nurse to be on standby..just in case)

We've hired a special venue for the event - in Bedugal. The venue includes an adventure playground for adults, and kids, plus we have a band, a magic show for the kids, and a team talent competition for the crew - to win HUGE prizes... I PROMISE to bring you news and pics of the fun day in the next edition of Sourcing Bali news.
